WELCOME TO IAN SPEIGHT ADVANCED RIDER TRAINING

** As featured in RiDE Magazine **

Hello and thank you for visiting my website.

I've been passionate about motorbikes all of my adult life. From my first moped in 1979 at the tender age of 16, to my current bike, which spans over 45 years, over 70 bikes and hundreds of thousands of miles.

I have been giving guidance on advanced riding since 1999, back then as a Class 1 Police Motorcyclist, helping to deliver BikeSafe, (something which I am still involved with today) and now as an Examiner and trainer, representing RoSPA, the BMF, the Enhanced Rider Scheme and IAM Roadsmart.

Having retired from the Police in December 2016, I decided to put all the skills I've learnt to good use, and dedicate more time to sharing my knowledge and experience with other motorcyclists, focusing on what skills they need to make them a smoother, safer and more confident rider. This resulted Ian Speight Advanced Rider Training being established in February 2018.

I hope you find my website interesting, engaging and informative, and that you choose me to be the one who works with you, so that you become the best rider you can possibly be.

Please click on the 'About Me' button for more information about my riding history and the qualifications I hold.
